Sib & Margaret Fedora Scholarship
Sutter High Alumni Sports Association (SHASA) is proud to offer this scholarship in honor of Sib & Margaret Fedora. In 1990 Sib & Margaret started the Tee Up For The Huskies Golf Tournament in order to fund the SUHS Golf Team created by Sib Fedora. Through Sib and Margaret’s efforts the golf tournament was such a success that SHASA was created to oversee the tournament as well as the distribution of funds to all school sports in addition to funding the golf team. Since then, over $500,000 has been raised to support athletics at Sutter Union High School.
The recipient will be chosen by the SHASA board based on character, community service, and citizenship, as shown by the completed application, and letters of recommendation. The recipient will be awarded $500 to be used at a Community College, University, or Trade School within twelve months of graduation.
