Pheasants Forever Scholarship

Memorial Scholarship
PURPOSE:
The Yolo County Pheasants Forever Scholarship Program was established to recognize and provide a financial award to one or more outstanding graduating seniors who plan to major in and enter the career of wildlife biology, agriculture, or a related field.
ELIGIBILITY:
Eligibility to apply for the Yolo County Pheasants Forever Scholarship is: a graduating high school senior that plans to attend an institution of higher education and major in wildlife biology, agriculture, or a related field.
TYPE OF SCHOLARSHIP:
One or more scholarships will be awarded each year based on the funds available. Scholarships are nonrenewable. The awards will be based on scholastic achievement, extra-curricular activities, community service, and completion of an essay of an assigned topic. The amount will be $500.00 per recipient.
Scholarship Application for High School Seniors
Applicant:
1. Complete all pages of this application.
2. Give the application to your high school guidance counselor before April 14, 2023.
*A guidance counselor will fill out part of the application, provide the student with a transcript, and return the application to the student.
NOTE: The student must mail the application and all supporting documenation themselves.
