The CREATE Mentoring Program Scholarship is open to all graduating high school seniors who are active members of the CREATE Mentoring Program. Candidates considered will be evaluated on level of participation in CREATE, grades, extracurricular and community activities, employment experience, financial need and completeness of application.

  

Applications will be accepted through November 1, 2023. No late submissions will be accepted. Eligible candidates for the CREATE Scholarship shall demonstrate the intent to pursue a career in the built environment. Please consult your mentors to confirm that your career path is included in the parameters of construction, redevelopment, engineering, architecture, and the trades. Students pursuing a construction-related trade, trade apprenticeship program, field experience, post-secondary education, or undergraduate degree in the built environment are eligible.

     

A COMPLETED APPLICATION WILL INCLUDE:

1)       This online application

2)      A copy of transcripts (unofficial transcripts will be accepted)

3)      Creation of a LinkedIn profile

4)      Submittal of a one to two-minute video as outlined below

AWARDS:

Applications will be reviewed by the CREATE Scholarship Committee. Top candidates will be selected by November 9, 2023, and invited for an interview on November 14, 2023, between 3:0 pm and 7:00 pm. Specific interview times will be scheduled by staff every half-hour. Recipients of scholarships will be awarded during the CREATE Awards Luncheon on December 11, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
