It's Course Selection Time !!!
The counseling staff will visit all classrooms at the end of January to help with course selection for the 26-27 School Year. All students will receive a copy of their transcript, and counselors will answer questions during the presentations to help with course selection.
Parents: You will be selecting your child’s courses through your Aeries Parent Portal account. If you have not yet created your Aeries parent portal account and need assistance, please call the Counseling and Career Center ASAP!

Course Selection Window Closes: 02/06/26 @ 11:59 PM.
Failure to submit course selections on time will result in having the counselors select courses for you.

Frequently Asked Questions:
When is the deadline for course selection? All students must have their courses added to their profile through Aeries Parent Portal by February 6th, 2026.
What do I do if I cannot log in to my Aeries Parent Portal? If you do not have an Aeries Parent Portal account or cannot get logged in, please call Kristy Helzer at 530-822-5161 ext. 214 as soon as possible so you do not miss the February 6th deadline.
How many courses do I need to select? You must choose 7 courses, including 3 alternate courses.
What should I select if I want a half-day? All Seniors must take a minimum of 5 periods (on campus or ROP classes). Seniors must have 7 periods entered into Aeries. The last two periods can be unscheduled, work experience, or a college block if they are taking a 5-period day.
What should I do as a parent if I want to talk with the counselor? If a student or parent has questions about courses, the student needs to sign up at the Counseling and Career Center. Parents can be contacted during the meeting or once the counselor has met with the student. Please keep in mind that the counselors will be calling students in from the sign-up sheet, so you must select your 7 courses and 3 alternates as accurately as possible by February 6th. We will work diligently to call in the students who sign up.
What happens if my courses are not in by the February 6th deadline? If courses are not entered online by the deadline, your courses will be selected for you, and you will have to wait until we are accepting signups for course changes in the Fall of 2026.
What do I do if my student loses the paperwork they were given? If your student lost their paperwork, the Course Catalog can be reviewed on the website, and a copy of the student’s transcripts can be requested through the counseling center or by clicking HERE.
