Academy of Art University is looking for dedicated students who want to become tomorrow’s art and design leaders. We seek innovators, storytellers, collaborators, problem solvers, dreamers, leaders—all are welcome here.

You’ll find that the application process isn’t that difficult at all, especially when you’re well-informed. Prospective students who apply are assigned their own personal admissions representative. Your “rep” will assist you through the admissions process, and make sure that your application best reflects your abilities.

    • The application takes about 15 minutes to complete.
  • Submit Payment
    • Applying requires a US $50 nonrefundable application fee. Additional documents and required materials can be submitted at any time after you have completed your online application.
  • Submit official transcripts
    • Provide proof of high school completion by submitting your high school transcripts, GED, or equivalent.
